  • Technical Sales Engineer – Aluminium (South Area)

    Responsibilities

    • Prospect for potential new markets or clients and turn into increased business.
    • Cold call as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities together with sales teams.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the aluminium product market.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, manufacturers, and distributors.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
    • Support Sales teams and partners in terms of technical & application knowledge eg. preparing PowerPoint presentations, Pitching products and/or services, Training to sales and customer and sales displays.
    • Coordinate with related functions for better customer satisfaction from product launch, problem solving, and order entry to after service.
    • Initiate and implement new product launching together with product marketing including training  and coaching sales teams, partners and customer.
    • Develop communication plans and materials together with product marketing and marketing teams.
    • Manage the item stock matching with project/ customer requirement and inventory level.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Materials, or a related field or equivalent technical background.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or technical roles, preferably in the aluminium or construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of aluminium products.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluency in English.
    • Responsible for Phuket and Southern Thailand areas.
